GeneWatch UK, who are concerned with the ethics and risks of genetic engineering, have produced the following paper which includes information obtained under the Freedom of Information Act. The Manchester Veg People Co-operative (A co-operative of local organic growers and restaurants working together to provide fresh, seasonal food of the highest possible quality all grown within 50 miles of Manchester city centre) has secured some funding to employ a sales/customer service person.
The part time post will involve talking to chefs and building up relationships with buyers, direct sales and making social media updates.
The deadline has just been extended to Tuesday the 22nd of April, 9am.

The Soil Association Future Growers scheme is looking for more host farms to train up the next generation of organic growers. The scheme now offers six month placements for trainees as well as our proven two year placements for apprentices.
