Description
We're a 16,000 acre deer stalking Estate on the Isle of Jura off the west coast of Scotland, one of the most remote farms in Argyll. We can offer a range of experiences depending on season, from feeding cattle to clearing rhododendrons. We have 65 Luing x Limousin cattle and 40 Jacob sheep plus Kune Kune pigs and ponies but our main business is cattle farming and red deer stalking. We're a family looking for help on lots of levels - whether it's maintaining woodland walks, beach cleaning or helping with the veggie patch and polytunnel. If you're sociable and prepared to muck in and don't mind being 17 miles away from the only shop, this could be the place for you….. Because of our remote location and lack of public transport, a driving licence is essential. Please note we only take help in spring and sometimes winter as we're busy with holidaymakers in summer.
