Scotland North
Type of activity
Our Victorian walled garden in its 3rd year of restoration after some years of inactivity. In the first 2 years most of the efforts and resources were spent reclaiming the garden from weeds and brambles.

The garden now provides vegetables and soft fruit to residents staying on the estate, visitors to the area and locals in and around Lochaline.

Ideally we would like a volunteer/s with experience of horticulture however guidance will be given. Duties are dependent on experience but may include, grass cutting, weeding, sowing and planting, harvesting and serving customers.

The area is rugged, remote and breathtakingly beautiful. It is a couple of miles from the village of Lochaline and a relatively short journey to Fort William, the nearest town, which has most amenities. There is also a small ferry to take you to the Isle of Mull.

Accommodation is a 3 bedroom self catering unit with TV, and WiFi available, which you may be sharing with other WWOOFers. Meals won't be provided but an allowance can be allocated for supplies.
