DescriptionOn 21st September we will be moving to another 6 1/2 acre smaller holding not far away with the sheep, textiles and the Lottery Sheep to Shawl Project. Small fruit/veg garden, producing high quality fleece and some meat from Wensleydale Longwool (black) sheep . 1 /pond, copse etc. hedging, ditching, fencing, mulching, wooding, , sowing etc are all part of activities. Please note we will no longer be taking general volunteer help. We will aim to offer approx. 6 placements p.a.. for students who have a particular project in mind on organic principles/textiles etc. and who speak fluent English.. Wildlife habitats and meadow diversity\natural medicines, arts, sustainable energy, see website. Involved in rural community interests. and Awards for All Lottery funded Educational Project.
