| Description | We are a family of 4 living on a ½ hectare smallholding near the university town of Bangor, Snowdonia National Park and beaches. We have a multi-purpose site run on permaculture principles and try to work with nature for the benefit of us and wildlife. We have growing areas that are more traditionally organic horticulture, orchard and soft fruit, wild areas, woodland, alternative edible species less commonly known and also encourage wild plants that are useful to us and nature. We have a cat, hens, ducks and bees and we sell eggs, vegetables, honey and beehive products. Help is particularly appreciated from those wishing to learn new skills. We grow willow for building living willow structures and are involved in a number of food growing projects in schools. Other interests include sustainable living, music & singing, horses, kayaking, family life and practicing French, Welsh & German whenever possible. |
