| Description | On a steeply sloping half-acre garden with house, caravans and sheds surrounded by forestry and moorland, 1000 feet above sea level. I grow vegetables and hedge plants, shrubs etc. for part-time garden business. There is a living willow bower and some laid hedges. It's a good area for cycling and cross-country skiing (I can provide both). I aim for a sustainable, low-input lifestyle with no mains electricity, compost toilets and extensive use of recycling. 6 miles to the nearest shop and pub. |
