Description
Our 54 acre organic hill farm is in beautiful rural Carmarthenshire, on the edge of Brechfa Forest, with a further 40 rented acres along the Cothi Valley. We breed native cattle and sheep, keep bees and grow vegetables. We sell wool, meat, honey and livestock, and host textile courses on the farm.

Opportunities for wwoofers are many and varied - helping with sheep, cattle and bees, managing pasture, gardening, maintaining and developing new natural habitats, repairing buildings, preparing fleece, wool and honey for sale. The priority for 2017 is to improve the overall look of the farmyard and bring the wool barns and farm kitchen into full use.

We enjoy sharing farm life with volunteers who are happy to muck in with anything and everything - from the agricultural to the domestic. We love hosting people who have a specific interest in being here so please, when you email, let us know why, specifically, this farm! (Unfortunately, we don't accept generic applications or volunteers under 21.)
