| Description | Large hillside allotment in Pennine hills for growing veg and soft fruit. Mostly growing from seed using compost and rotating beds. Help needed with landscaping hillside to maximize wet and stony areas with terracing, paths and more raised beds. I am retired and thrilled to be growing own food, spending time outdoors, connecting with passersby in lane or footpath, walking, cycling or riding horses. Help with planning, planting and care of seedlings, plants etc. Shared polytunnel being planned so help needed here. Weather is a challenge sometimes. All home cooking. Music, cinema, theatre locally. Great walking. Easy to reach Leeds and Manchester and Lake District by train. Well placed to travel north or across to north Wales. Now creating a polytunnel for 2010.
