| Description | We are a friendly family with 2 dogs living in a house with about a third of an acre of garden. We garden using a permaculture model, which means that we work with the environment and grow foodstuffs organically. Our garden is still being developed, and future projects involve a wildlife pond, a green building, greenhouse construction, chicken keeping and many more! I am also a jewellery designer and a mosaic artisit, plus I have a small gardening business. WWOOFers would be welcome to learn from any of these interests. Our garden is also used for teaching purposes because of the way we garden and grow our food, including perennial veg, annual veg and fruit of all kinds. As I work in horticulture, I am also involved in a variety of other projects (such as show gardens in RHS shows, gardening in schools) which WWOOFers are welcome to join in with.
We are in a friendly village, with easy access to Cardiff city, beautiful beaches, the Gower and the Brecon Beacons. |
