| Description | Our farm provides for the Hare Krishna community situated in the Hertfordshire countryside of England. The Manor is also a shrine and temple and is one of the most frequently visited temples in Europe with over 300 visitors per day. Our farm is situated on 80 acres of landscaped grounds consisting of lawns, flower gardens, a children's playground and a lake. Our Horticultural Development Project offers the opportunity to learn about new ethical and organic techniques of farming without any pesticides or fertilizers. All your fave’s in British veg are grown on the farm including coriander, chilies, peppers, okra, oats and more. Produce is also sold to the visiting community. There is livestock on site too, twenty six milking cows, and 12 bulls that have been specially trained to pull ploughs and carts. All Vegetarian meals provided with shared accommodation and showers and WC. At the moment we will only be looking for WWOOFers for weekends. We are a registered charity. |
