Description
We have a farm on the outskirts of the village of Waldron, near the South Downs. We have sheep and a few cattle, all farmed naturally, on organic principles, and we make our own hay.
Machinery is a little old fashioned!
The animals live outside all year.
We grow many of our own vegetables, also organically.
There is space for 1or max 2 woofers in a room in the house, sharing our own large farmhouse kitchen. Family live locally, and often come to stay, bringing numerous grandchildren with them. They all love the farm, especially the lambs at lambing time (80 this year), and hay making, when we need as many hands as possible.
Musicians and artists would be very welcome.
The house is in a lovely rural position, with a big sunny garden, and we speak several languages.
