Description
A rural retreat in the beautiful Sussex countryside with woodland, ponds and a beautiful flower garden. We garden organically and are gradually becoming more biodynamic in our approach.

Work will involve sowing, planting, cultivating and maintenance as well as opportunities to work in our ancient coppiced wood and newly planted fruit orchard

We have a few free range organic hens and we keep bees for their honey and for their benefit to the garden and plants.

Accommodation is in a wooden cabin close to the main house or in tents if preferred. Toilet and washing facilities are a short distance away from the accommodation. The cabin has electricity and heating if required. Wifi is free.

The farm is close to the sea and the towns of Hastings, Rye and Tenterden. We are only an hour and a half from London by train.

Your hosts have been gardening organically for more than 20 years and have worked with volunteers supporting them and teaching them the necessary skills for growing organic food successfully and upholding a sustainable lifestyle.
