Description
This summer we are ideally looking for two or three wwoofers to stay with us in our large teepee in the garden. Working in kitchen garden and young orchard, weeding, harvesting, strimming nettles, and pooh-picking in the horses field, moving muck to the garden, and helping clean out and feed the poultry, plus some housework. Keen cooks are particularly welcome, as are wall-painters. We need wwoofers happy to work without us sometimes once shown what to do.

Situated on Thames Path, directly on bus route to Oxford and Reading. Small family smallholding. Listed Queen Anne house, undergoing restoration and redecoration.Large garden used mostly for production of fruit and vegetables on extensive raised beds. Using no dig method where possible.
We keep chickens, ducks, geese, quail. This year we are not keeping pigs or lambs but we have last years meat in the freezer. We have rent extra grazing for our horses. We consist of husband and wife, and (mostly) polite and good-humoured boys (aged 13 and 11). We have a lovely South African lodger. Also a big, friendly dog
