Description
A back garden behind a terraced house is currently being converted to organic fruit and vegetable plots, mainly using raised beds, and to include a green house.

In order to create the optimum growing environment in this spot the earth is being systematically seived and cleaned of 200 years plus of domestic debris, including the usual bricks, glass, ceramics etc.

Numerous Victorian items have been unearthed, including dolls, toy tea sets, pipes, pots, glass jars all showing an active history within such a small plot.

The garden may not produce crops for some time as we intend to purify the soil with Hungarian Rye and clover etc over winter.

Additionally an alotment is nearby. A car is available for transportation.

It is expected that Wwoofers would garden in both areas, while staying in the house in East Finchley.
