Description
A back garden behind a terraced house is being converted to organic fruit and vegetable plots, mainly using raised beds, and includes a green house.

In order to create the optimum growing environment in this spot the earth has been systematically seived and cleaned of 200 years plus of domestic debris, including the usual bricks, glass, ceramics etc.

Numerous Victorian items have been unearthed, including dolls, toy tea sets, pipes, pots, glass jars all showing an active history within such a small plot.

The garden may not produce crops for some time as we intend to purify the soil with Hungarian Rye and clover etc.

Additionally there are 2 allotments nearby. One is 3 mins walk away, the other a short car ride away, and a car is available for transportation.

It is expected that Wwoofers will garden in all areas, while staying in the house in East Finchley.

We work hard, and value people who are truly interested in various organic / biodynamic/ permaculture principles and applications.
