Before you apply to become a WWOOF UK host, please read this link about information for potential hosts.
There are two ways to apply to become a WWOOF host in the UK: online or by post.
Online application
If you join online, you will first need to give us a few contact details and choose whether to pay now (by credit or debit card, paypal) or later (cheque or cash). You will then receive a username and password that will allow you to log on and fill in further details about your farm, smallholding or house. This will give us some idea of your suitability and will allow us to move your application on to the next stage. You will be able to update and edit this information in the future, so don't worry too much about getting it right the first time, but do please try and fill in all the boxes.
When you have completed this second phase, a regional contact will contact you within two weeks to talk through your application. Once you are approved and your payment is processed, you will be listed in the online WWOOF directory and published in the next host book.
If your application is not succesful, we will refund your payment.
By post
If you prefer, you can print an application form and send it to us by post along with your payment. A regional contact will then contact you within two weeks of the application being processed to talk about your application. Once you are approved and your payment is processed, you will be listed in the online WWOOF directory and published in the next host book. If at any point in the future you would like to edit your details online, email hosts@wwoof.org.uk and we will give you a username and password to edit your information or, if you prefer, edit it for you.
