Bumblebee Conservation Trust - Bee a Volunteer!

"Volunteering in any capacity is a great way to share your enthusiasm, skills and ideas whilst having fun and meeting likeminded people."

This is the strapline from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust webpage on how to get involved in the conservation of bumblebees, wildflowers and many other parts of the natural world that depend on bees.

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was created after the disturbing decline of bumblebee populations were observed over the last 80 years. In this time two UK species have become extinct and many other national species have suffered too.

"Volunteers get the enjoyment of working with bumblebees, a sense of purpose in helping creatures that are in trouble, and numerous benefits for their physical and mental health."
