This year our members weekend and AGM was held in mid-Wales; hosted by Old Chapel Farm. This was the perfect setting for the event and we were treated to fantastic accommodation, great food and a warm welcome. The weather for late September was unseasonably warm too but the nights were therefore [shockingly] cold. Due to Old Chapel Farm's lofty situation in the welsh hills, the sky at night, devoid of any light pollution, was fantastic- so many stars! We awoke to find that Jack Frost had paid us a visit and those who had camped in tents seemed to have been insulated by the warmth that abounded throughout this event.
The meetings were very constructive and the way the event had been organised allowed us all to spend much valuable time chatting about things WWOOF and related topics. Hosts, WWOOFers, staff and directors all found that we have so much in common; truly there is no better form of communication than being in each other's company.
