Full time vacancy - immediate effect.

Assistant grower wanted to join a small but productive team. This is a full time position on an 80 acre organic holding on the Quantock hills in Somerset.

Demonstrable practical skills across a broad range of activities including some equipment experience are required.  You will have the ability to work hard with committment and drive. A full driving license is required.



The Buzz of WWOOFing.

Seems like there's a buzz in the air about WWOOFing at the moment and now we're in the news - The LBKA News [that's the London Beekeepers' Association] The article is called 'Why not try.....WWOOFing?' and came about after our very own Amanda Pearson met one of LBKA at the Edible Flower Show.


Opportunity To Run Productive Community Garden - Scotland

West Ardnamurchan Produce Community Interest Company is offering the opportunity to run its Community Garden as a commercial but community minded venture.

The garden is around 2 acres of land approximately 0.75 acres of which is currently under cultivation and includes a poly-tunnel, a large area of vegetable beds, a soft fruit area, a harvesting and storage shed and a static caravan for use by seasonal residential volunteers (the new agreement holder will not be able to live there).


New WWOOF Office - New Era!!

On Wednesday 1st July 2015 WWOOF UK moved office.

This was the end of an era and of a working partnership with - also known as LILI - Low Impact Living Initiative (we love acronyms here!) LILI have been running the WWOOF UK office since 2007 and now the same "WWOOF team" are employed directly by WWOOF UK.


A Family Go WWOOFing.

Laurence and Adele Jarrett-Kerr are a married couple who, along with their two young children, have recently been WWOOFing as a family.

We are particularly priviledged to have the luxury of not one, but two blogs recording thoughts and feelings from their encounters on a small farm in Cornwall. Both blogs are embellished with beautiful photographs, as you will discover.
