Description
300 acre organically run farm in S.W. Scotland, using biodynamic sprays. 4 miles from local harbour town of Kirkcudbright. We have 450 Lleyn sheep ,which we lamb in March and April, and shear in June/July. All grassland pastures with wildlife ponds and newly planted native tree woodlands. The farm is run by Charlie and Elaine, and 3 working Collie dogs. We also have 2 holiday cottages for tourists. Beautifully set farm,with stunning views, but quite isolated. Accommodation is in self-contained flat on the farm, all meals provided. Help needed to work with the sheep, woodlands, veg. garden, dry-stone dyking and general farm maintanance.
