Description
We run a market garden, growing vegetables on our 18 acre edge-of-town site for our veg boxes which we sell locally. We also have woodland, fruit and nut trees, and various animals on the farm (ducks, pigs and a small breeding flock of Shropshire sheep, plus a cat and a pony). In the summer, we run a small campsite on the farm. Help wanted with all of this but mainly with the veg – we’re experimenting with various small-scale commercial farming methods. You'll usually be working alongside us or our farm trainee, along with other WWOOFers.

We're involved in permaculture, agroecology and small-scale farming activism/writing (see website). We live onsite and off-grid - compost toilets, solar electricity and solar/wood-fired hot water. Various small building, energy & water projects usually on the go. Accommodation will either be in one of our fun retro caravans or a room in our house. Local sights include Bath, Stonehenge & Glastonbury. We can teach small-scale commercial growing & general smallholding skills. All committed WWOOFers are sure of a warm reception!
