Description
If you like rough, rural and amazing views, you'd do well here.

Help is required with sowing, planting, weeding, picking, strimming, mowing, jam and chutney making. We gather seaweed and manure throughout the year for fertilizing. People with practical building and maintenance skills are very welcome. I am away some days working, I prefer couples or people who are happy to work on their own.

I have livestock on the croft, hens and sheep, two friendly collie dogs, Jack and Fingal, and two outside cats, who will distract you in the garden. I am a relaxed timekeeper who enjoys having people around on the croft and although both rural and remote, there is a good social life within our friendly community. We all enjoy eating our own locally grown meat and locally caught shellfish and fish.
We have a variable and unpredictable climate, ranging from cold, wet and windy to hot and sunny sometimes within a day, so come prepared!
Always a good idea to call and find out about alternative possibilities for getting to Scoraig. Check out extended description.
