Description
Vegetable garden with raised beds in listed walled kitchen garden attached to beautiful Bromham Hall by the banks of the river Ouse. This family home, which dates back to medieval times, is lived in by my mother and some tenants. We can take shelter in the beautiful Orangery if the weather gets too wet. Here there is a bed and woodburner if anyone wants to stay over at the Hall,. We grow most veg and fruit on organic principles. There are also floral herbaceous borders that need renovating when we get the veg garden sorted. There are a few sheep and chickens to help us in our efforts to keep on top of the vegetation.
There is woodland is alongside the river which affords very rare habitat for wildlife in this area. We have seen otters and kingfishers often from the lawn at the back of the house.
