Description
Bakery and Fermenteria/smallholding specialising in sourdough bread, baked in a wood-fired oven and fermented vegetables and drinks. We host village pizza night on Fridays March-Oct. We run baking and fermented food workshops and take fermented veg to markets. Have chickens, vegetable patch and greenhouse. Welcome people interested in learning about sourdough bread, fermenting, to help with our baking classes and making vegetable ferments, at the markets, gardening and chopping wood. We also have an Airbnb caravan and help with change overs needed. We have a redundant slate quarry we are restoring, planting trees. Help also needed on Pizza nights; often music around fire in woods. In the Spring there is a lot of gardening. Caravan sleeps two with compost loo. For campers shower and toilet in the laundry attached to bakery. We eat together and share cooking and cleaning of communal areas. Friendly community.
