Description
We are situated in the rolling green "Drumlins" on the edge of Rathfriland village, a rural farming community. The small holding overlooks the Mourne Mountains and is also half an hour from beautiful forests and beaches.

Activities include tending the organic garden plot, tree planting and maintenance, old barn restoration using lime, fencing, splitting wood and drying.

The host is passionate about the outdoors and enjoying the local environment is encouraged. Depending on the time of year there will be opportunities for active Woofers to go kayaking, mountain biking or mountain walking.Also eating good homemade food (mostly vegan) and log fire.

Spring 2018 Plans: Planting out oak saplings, thinning existing woodland. Preparing and planting veg and herb plots.Tree pruning. Stone walls and restoration of barn walls. Also the chance to learn breadmaking.
