Description
We have a smallholding in rural Pembrokeshire, about 3 miles from the coast , 7 miles from St David's and just outside but surrounded by the National Park. Over the last 6 years we have worked to establish a productive smallholding, keeping chickens for eggs and the table, and bees. We aim to grow as much as possible of what we need in the way of fruit and vegetables. We have planted an orchard, lots of wind break trees and thousands of willows to be used for basketry and coppiced for firewood. We are also trying a small crop of Christmas trees. We have two pollytunnels and a large fruit cage as well as several vegetable growing areas. I particularly love cooking and preserving our produce, so I will enjoy cooking for wwoofers but would also love to learn and sample your cooking if that is what you like to do. We would always aim to find out what your interests and skills are and include jobs in line with those.
