Description
We are musicians and land lovers and are lucky enough to have had an 8 acre smallholding for 4 years with stream and barn which used to be a veg and flower nursery but has been abandoned for 50 years. it is south facing with views to Englishcombe village and over the hills and far away. Its very peaceful as no road passes by. Badgers, rabbits wild deer buzzards and richness of nature abound as well as rich soil. it was mostly brambles but we have tamed some of the land and put in an orchard and living willow dome. There is fenced pasture,no livestock yet. There is wood and a very beautiful hornbeam avenue. We intend to leave a quarter untouched for wild life. We have just fenced about half an acre against deer and rabbits so we can make this part for veg and flowers in the spring. We need to prepare the land over winter for this.

it is agricultural land so we can stay over only 28 days a year and live nearby.
