Description
I have a good sized garden mainly down to fruit and vegetables. This includes a greenhouse with a very old grapevine in it. There are a number of types of fruit trees and a range of soft fruit. The annual vegetables are grown in raised beds. The garden is bordered by hedges and adjoins grazing land. There are also outdoor seating areas for relaxing with a cup of tea!

My style of gardening is relaxed and wildlife friendly. There is a range of work available depending on the season (see the extended description).

I live in a village 10 miles from York which has a regular day time bus service. It also has a community owned shop, a pub and a few other amenities. We are about four miles from the market town of Easingwold.

I aim to adopt a permaculture approach to my lifestyle and garden. I built a strawbale extension to my house some years ago and I am very interested in green building techniques. I am happy to share my experiences of this with others.
