The Good Food March - Sunday 14th Oct. London

On Sunday 14th October 2018 there will be a march in London calling for a post-Brexit agriculture policy that guarantees good food and good farming in the UK.

You are all people who care about Food and Farming. At this critical time, as the UK's Post Brexit Agricultural policy is being decided, the Landworkers' Alliance have teamed up with the Soil Association and Sustain to organise a "Good Food March".

The aim is to demonstrate to the Government that people want affordable, well produced, healthy food to be at the centre of the future agriculture policy. The march is part of a week-long programme of events called "We Feed the World" (including a global photography exhibition about small scale farming) happening at the Bargehouse Gallery on the South Bank in London, and following the march there will be an afternoon of workshops, talks and food stalls.

We Feed The World is a global photography campaign highlighting the successful alternatives to an industrialised food system. They are hosting events in London from 12th - 21st October 2018 forming the #WeFeedTheWorld Exhibition. The Good Food March is one of the many wonderful events hosted by the Gaia Foundation, held at The Bargehouse Gallery - for full event details please click here.
Information about The Good Food March can be found here.
It would be wonderful to see you there. London is a bit of a trek for some of you, but the more people who come the bigger the impact and it sounds like it will be a great afternoon and fantastic gathering of people who care about food.
If you belong to an organisation which would consider signing up to the March website, please get in touch with Jyoti: with your organisation's logo.
See you there.

Bring pots and spoons to make some noise for our right to good food!
